Mr. George Chiu, Executive Vice President of Tan Holding Inc., and the President of the Chinese Association of Guam had the distinguished honor of chairing the 2013 American Red Cross Red Ball on September 21, 2013. The annual gala with more than 1000 guests attending was held at the Ballroom of the Pacific Islands Club in Tumon Bay. Mr. George Lai’s family members, many island dignitaries including members of the consular corps, corporate leaders, and CCCG members attended the successful event. Some of the dignitaries came from the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands. In November, 2013, Mr. George Chiu was selected as one of the most distinguished alumna of the year by his alma mater University of Guam.
